Some Love Stories Have Blood On Them

Rightly said "Some Love Stories Have Blood On Them". KURBAAN...

Anxiously waiting for movie, finally got to go today matinee show. Starring SAIFREENA; hmmmm. saif ali khan and kareena.... movie promo and lead pair chemistry was the reason behind my eagarness folk.

Movie moves with fast pace like today's young generation who cannot wait and dont have patience... I mean lead pair meet, kareena is impress with saif style, both fall in love over cups of coffee, parent of kareena agree for marriage, action, etc....

Kareena plays Hindu girl who is doing graduation from New York university and flew back to India due to her dad critical health problem and then she meet Saif and fall in love. Kareena gets email from university for completing of final semester and Saif agrees to go along with her. Real story starts from here. Kareena realize that Saif is terrorist and all this was planned by him (love, marriage and flying down to new york along with Kareena and settling there).

Saif along with his fellows headed by Om puri choose to take revenge with American for their bombing in their countries (Afganisation, Taliban) for the quest of oil reserve killing many innocent families daily in counts of ten thousands. Kareena is kept under house arrest; having threat of killing his father in India if Kareena opens her mouth outside. Vivek Oberoi plays a pivotal role in movie; who is muslim but by heart feels like american and wants to save america from saif's terrorist attack with the help of Kareena.

This is how movie moves; I do agree that some parts of the movie is boring and some scenes are predictable. Overall I shall rate movie, 2 and half out of 5; can see type; if don't, there is nothing to lose.

JOB vs BUSINESS

It all started from the day, I resigned from satisfactory job of renowned company "TVS". I was handling service operation across INDIA, be it appointment of service partner or truncation of partner or performance report of all service center across INDIA and many other things. You name it in service, I am responsible for same. Be it branding, be it service call or anything. I was youngest staff in company and many were surprise to see me handling service operation not particular state or region but all over INDIA.

The day I resigned, it recalled me; my MBA friend (Sachet) who was famous for his palm reading in college; who predicted that I won’t stay long in job and will surely joined business in future. The day I resigned, it made me go to flashback when my TVS colleague used to comment on me "why I am doing job when my family business is such vast?" It seemed to me that they were feeling happy for me that I am going to take charge of my family business. Now let me confess that it was my sole decision to quit job and joined business; as I was seeing my dad taking whole lot of burden on himself (handling his own saree business and another newly initiated manufacturing unit of boys wear).

Today I have completed one full year in business and hence recalling experience i.e. JOB vs BUSINESS. Many people argue, ask, ponder, and wonder over positive and negative points of JOB & BUSINESS. Hey friends out there, I am not an expert to comment on same and to decide which one is better and which one rules over other?

I was earning 30K+ every month in job; doing computer work; handling, analyzing performance, appointing, deactivating service centre through 13 TVS branches. Though job is not that easy as we all view from outside; you have pressure all the time, boss monitoring you round the clock, performance check every day and many other stressful things but when you see 30K accumulating in your bank account was itself such a great experience that makes everything else goes off your mind. I can spend on whatsoever and no one to question lavish guy like me. Everyone knows me and how lavishly I use to spend money on movies, hotel, parties, accessories, clothes, mobile, gifts and gym too.

Today I am earning ZERO every month in business; I mean I don’t see money accumulating in my bank account as I use to see in job (though business is earning and accumulating money in firm bank account). I am handling all factory operations right from designing, cutting, stitching, finishing, packing and godown, order dispatching and every other thing in manufacturing boys wear. It is much more stressful than job and sometimes have sleepless nights (I agree). Lavish guy like me has to make budget or say keep control on spending as there are many to question you.

I use to have battle with myself regarding JOB vs BUSINESS. I see myself when I was in job and enjoying life and now when I am in business, I have restrict myself which make me feel bit down for few minutes, but I have to say that I don’t regret on my decision (joining business).

In JOB, you don’t have worry about company performance (profits or loss) for your salary; you have to constantly perform well to save your job or say be in job; appreciation is least expected for your efforts given; you don’t see results of your efforts much often; you are financially independent; you have status but until you are in higher post (for which you have to constantly perform in job for atleast 10-15 years);

In BUSINESS, you have worry for your company performance; you have to constantly work towards company performance and survival; for every effort you put, whether good or bad, you get feedback immediately; you see results of your effort immediately; here too you are financially independent once you take charge of whole company; your status grows as company grows.

I have once challenged myself to my closest friend "Yatin". I will earn more than what other family member earn all together and give relief to my dad. This challenge is keeping me motivated and determination to work towards it. I am sure that in future, business will give me much more than what job can give me. More you give to business; more fruitful will be your life in future. I am confident on myself and on my efforts that I give to business.

I have no idea of you friends but I give my thumbs up to BUSINESS. JOB vs BUSINESS battle will continue and have different opinion for different people.

Kaminey Life Partner

Thanks to my factory staff guy (Ashok bhai) who did not turn up for work on last Sunday and I got time for my dear ones. Lucky day for me, i can say. We (I, Anju, Ankita, Lekha, Mayank, Hardik and Kanu) were out for movie. We had car (thanks to bhaiya) and we all were having fun in & out of car. We headed towards Himalaya mall for entertainment, games, window shopping as we all do... We had bike race but phew couldn’t come first.... always third in race ;) Secret is race was among three people in race track... hahahahahaha... so first from last...

Initially we had lots of fun of movie “Kaminey” word itself is a slang and we all were having fun. “Chal Kaminey dekhne chalthe hai” “oye Kaminey dekh kar aaye” “Kaminey akele dekh kar aaye” and various other lines... We went for booking tickets for movie “Kaminey” but its certification “A” was not allowing Kanu for entry. Finally we choose “Life Partner” light comedy movie starring Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Genelia, Prachi and last but not least Tushar.

How about saying how was your “Kaminey” “Life Partner”? Sound interesting... Guy like me who can watch two movies in a row and see these two movie one after another and says “Hey friends, I saw “Kaminey Life Partner” It sounds interesting. And yes, don’t dare to doubt or say about my life partner. She is gr8, lovable and everything for me. Better mind it. :) ;)

As it is said in poster of Life Partner “Marriage will leave them all puzzled”. Puzzle theme was shown for introduction. Govinda (Divorce lawyer, who always tries to convince couples for divorce), Fardeen (salaried person in reputed bank of Cape town), Genelia (daughter of millionaire), Tushar (son of traditional conservative gujarati father having grown empire of pickle business in cape town) and Prachi (daughter of crorepati in Gujarat).

Movie starts with car having race with plane; Fardeen driving, Genelia (girlfriend) enjoying and backseat Tushar biting his nails. In between of race, Fardeen leaves the car sterring and kisses Genelia and both enjoying while Tushar’s heart is pumping out. After race completion, Fardeen explains the madness of race and says girl likes all this adventure; kissing while speeding car, etc. Our stupid Tushar always have diary to note down formula to impress gal in similar manner. This was formula no 150 for him.

Story is simple, light humoured and well acted. Govinda is shown flirting with goris, babes, convincing couple for divorce; movie had shown that govinda had convinced honeymoon couple and parents who came for divorce for their son, made up mind for divorce within a minute. We should appreciate his selling talent. Fardeen Khan loves his girlfriend (Genelia) very much. Always keep her happy, whatever Genelia does; be it singing, painting or interior. Fardeen comparison is also imaginative; Genelia singing is worse than beggar singing in Mumbai local train and painting is worse than painting done by blind; but he still wants to keep her happy so appreciate her in very goody goody way. Things changes after marriage.... incompatibility between two....

Tushar who is part of family pickle business; afraid of his traditional and I say too much conservative father. He believes in arrange marriage and notes down all formula of fardeen to try upon this future life partner and impress her. He says that he is keeping all romance for his wife and his virginity is gift for her. (oops.. sorry).. What a seedha saadha guy in cape town ! He marries Prachi who is daughter of croreparti (We can say; whose business is 10 times more than that of Tushar’s Dad). Again due to too much conservative and traditional behaviour of Tushar’s Dad, incompatibility arises.

Govinda is there for helping both. Divorce expert. He arises more feeling and making them strong for divorce. He gets it done without any delay. After few days, he falls in love and decides to marry and that time, he finds out the differences caused for divorce (without knowledge of fardeen and tushar). He invites all for marriage and then had plan for sorting out differences with the help of Genelia and all three friends (Govinda, Tushar, Fardeen) live happily after with their loved ones.

Thing that did not digest me was the climax. Story had beautifully wrote showing love, marriage, problem arises due to incompatibility,etc.. but ending was so fast and quick like anything... which looks like fast forward and very hurried up in ending love stories... Rest was fine and story was well executed.

I would rate 2 and half star out of five. It would be ok ok movie... nothing great would lose if you miss it....

I AM DREAMING WITH WIDE OPEN EYES........

Hello to all. It had been long, long, long time writing blog for me. Business had just kept me awake all the time and breathless round the clock. No time for extra activities ( L shh... waste of me). But hey, lot of learning and gaining in this long period. No regrets for my decision (quitting job and joining business) and should not regret too. (It's my life and want it to be bigger than king size)

If you dream big, your dream should make you wide awake and not sleep. If you dream big, dream with open eyes. If you dream big, sacrifice all fantasy you imagine. If you dream big, work towards it till it is reality. Dream more than ten times of your potential and give more than cent effort. Ok ok... no philosophy... let's come back friends... Sorry for interruption... yeah if this gave you inspiration; do reward me with your money :D

Business v/s job comparison is still juggling in my mind. Both have their own +ve & -ve aspects but who cares? For me, it's like "I DON'T CARE" ad punch line. Business is making me crazy, money minded and many more. I have changed... yeah changes happened in me. I am watching fewer movies, no dining out, no freaking out.... still friends, believe me, I am enjoying life as it is.... I am dreaming big and bigger than it should be... I do get complains, friends do complain me; sisters do complain me... yes they are right from their view but I can't help myself for time. I have to fight with time to become big and again dream bigger than it used to be.

Time is running fast and is like "tortoise and hare" story where "Hare" is time and "tortoise" is me, chasing each other; challenging each other and learning lots of new things in between. Slow and steady win the race though it takes more than 100 percent effort. Success do not comes without effort but it is also true that every effort, you give will not turn into success. Surely, I will raise cocktail of success and thank Nandu bhaiya (elder brother; who always inspires me with his messages), Yatin (friend; his success & hard work inspire me), Atika (life partner; who is always there to support me), Geeta Mamiji (maternal aunty; her struggle and fulfilling family needs inspire me) and all rich people whom I see while growing up (who always give me positive jealousy and zeal to become like them).

At last, leaving a thought for you my friends too....

"Wake up and see whether your name is there in list of top richest person in world, if not; wake up wide and go to work towards it"
