Love in time of Corona

Adi is getting ready for work; He knew its gonna be tough ahead.

Everything at home was so silent, even his wife Chabbi was in a state of disbelief yet trying to be strong inside.

She got his dress ready on the bed and packed his suitcase, with necessary clothes and essential toiletries.

It was morning 10 AM but the silence was of past midnight.

No vehicle noise, no birds chirping, no neighbor voices or no garden hustling and laughing.

Roads were empty only to be filled with the silence of scare.

Both were seated on the dining chair, but across to maintain distance.

Chabbi passed on the last packet of chips which she saved for Adi to have as breakfast.

Both were silent as it was a heavy moment to depart.

Crunching chips was only noise filling this empty silent home.

Adi got up; and walked up to Chabbi for one more time before leaving home. He went to hug but instead just hugged himself wrapping himself around with his arms; Chabbi did the same.

Even in this self-hug, they were feeling each other from their heart and soul.

Their eyes were moist and lips were sealed in silence.

Adi left home; waving good-bye and came down to the building to walk for around 2km to reach his work office.

He was silent, emotional, responsible for his work and passionate enough to do something great in his life.
