She smiled but....

Chabbi’s friends plan a visit to the hospital.

Friends came in and were trying to have a good time.

Sometimes they were gossiping; while sometimes they were consoling.

Sometimes they were angry; while sometimes they were feeling helpless.

“Chabbi, You have to be strong; You have to move on,” One of her friend said.

“Chabbi, you will have many other options; don’t worry” another friend.

“Chabbi, Please smile” another friend pleaded.

After so much talk and so, finally

She smiled but only Adi knew that she is still in depression and devasted within and needed space for more time.

(Chabbi was a victim of an acid attack.)

One fine evening, Chabbi, as usual, was jogging in a park.

Suddenly a football came in her path, and she stood still.

She got hold of football and was trying to figure to whom it belongs;

and then she notices a group of boys coming to her direction

“Aunty, please pass the ball,” one of the kids said.

Chabbi smiled and she was about to throw the football

“Khush, Let’s go home; its time” one of the kid mom shouted.

Chabbi immediately recognized the kid’s mom so did the kid’s mom.

“Happy to see you” Khush’s mom greeted Chabbi.

“Same here. How are you?” Chabbi smiled.

“I am fine” Khush’s mom replied with a smile.

“Mom... Let’s go” kid came in between and said to his mom

“Say Namaste” kid’s mom said to Khush

“Namaste Aunty” Khush greeted.

“Namaste” Chabbi replied.

She smiled but couldn’t say further.

(Chabbi was the surrogate mother of Khush)
