I, Me & Myself

I was browsing through my friend’s blog, their profiles at orkut, etc. I noticed one thing which I felt is missing with my blog website or my profile and that was “About Me” or “Brief about me” or “Lines for me” columns, so I decided to write something about me and narrate / describe myself to the world outside. I penned down few lines but then deleted it all lines. Writing about me would not be fair enough. I would rather let my friends & dear ones say, narrate, describe about REAL ME. I had quoted their views about me. (No editing done with their views).

My childhood friend, say langotiya yaar Nirmal (I call him Vicky) says “I have three words that perfectly describes you...Cool, calm and composed...A very gentle and soft spoken person you are...have so many sweet memories with you... hardly seen you losing your cool..Very difficult to extract any negative side of you…yes but would like you seeing talk more...and yes a little louder ;-)for past many months we have not been touch but I can easily call you as one of my closest without giving any second thought... :-)”

Yatin, We are friends since I came Chennai for college (PG Studies - BCA) writes “Abhishek - Being friends for 7 years(never realized it until now) I have shared great time and unforgettable moments with him, some of them being our first job, THE bus Vs kinetic war, fun & fare stall, day camps/dreaming at dukan, Ahmadabad trip esp., the train journey, nanihal-ethiraj, the list goes on...as I said unforgettable 7 years..Not much has changed - Golden Heart, Down to Earth, Big Ideas, Big Dreams, Focused on the Present, Very Creative, Very Competitive, Always There, Always Caring, Never Angry, Bad Liar, Bad Flirt, Still ^(11/25/07), Will to do Good for others, Will to be the Best describes his the best...Time passed, distance increased, little busy lately, but still dude, you are the best and my BFF(best friend forever!!) I will cherish the years spent with you for life and for someone like you who values others happiness more than his own; I know it means a lot... And yes, secondary profession for him - Aamir Khans duplicate (at least in his dreams :)”

Chanchal, sweetest friend of all. I met her at Tirupati Trip and came to know more about each other. She says "The cuttest, sweetest person i had ever met n luv's coy is really too good, n alws is ter wenever u need him n i really admire him as a person, has an awesome nature n keeps every1 hpy alws... all this is from herat "i mean all wat i have wriiten" n his passion is 1st day show of almost all the movies... meet him n u wil know wat a sweetheart he is... n the most important , he is my 1st CRUSH cant forget this... be with me forever... take care dear...."

Gaurav, my room mate as well as batch mate during my MBA tenure at ITM - Bangalore says "Hmmm...what do i write bout you...One of the very few people i call friends.A Pure Heart...something rare these days. The Youngest in our batch,He's Got Gr8 Dreams (again something rare)and i see an enterpreneur in the making...Watch out for this guy..Lines for him...Manzilein unhi ki hoti hain,Jinke khawabon mein jaan hoti hai.Pankhon se kuch nahin hota, Hoslon se udan hoti hai.."

Shashank, my batch mate during MBA says "I used to call this guy PPT, Sarkar, GOGO GOVindaaaaaaaa, some many names for this guy bahut acha bacha hai yeh bahut sidha aur simple one of my gud friend from Bangalore , very emotional i like his innocence and simplicity please dont change ABHIshek Sorry PPT"

I got job at TVS-E through campus placement. Reema and I were in same trainee batch in TVS-E. Over period of time, we got together and become one of my close friend in TVS-E. She thinks "Life becomes a lot more easier if we have our wonderful friends to count on n abhi is jst one of them. He is so damn caring and understanding that you one does not need to think b4 seeking any help...he is jst thr next to u...lets me tell u d other side of him..he is d worst wen he calls early mrng on holidays jst to trouble u...let me tell 1 more thingwhich many of u mst have observed..he is d one who watches all new releases during the 1st 3 days n thn will call u n disclose all the suspense...sooooo mean..:(But he is a very cute frend(though a lil lesser than me..)..Be d same n keep rocking.Thx 4 being such a caring frend... :)"

I met Debdeep after few months of job; got synchronized well and easily and is now close friend of mine in TVS-E. He writes "The real cute face in our office.....KIDDO...as we call him...very soft spoken, well behaved guy with chocolatty face to potray his innocence.....can mesmerise any gal with his cute smile.....makes friendship with everyone especially gals...never discriminates them on any criteria......Has done full justice to his name...One problem....he is a confused kid...doesn't know wat actually he wants from life....i just hope...U achieve all those things watever u hv aspired for...wish u Best of Luck on all spheres of life"

Nimisha was from junior trainee batch. We were in same team (Channel Management) but later on she moved to BD team and then IT-SAP team but still we are good friend in TVS-E. She speaks “Abhishek...the kid in our floor..hmm what to mention about him...walks as though he would hurt the ground if he keeps his feet hard, would often look lost, keeps himself occupied on a mobile phone, wouldn't care what goes around him, seems to be very choosy, will just blush when talked about, will raise his eyebrow to express surprise, will finish his coffee and try to rush without giving a damn about others in the group, carries himself as a model and THE BEST PART..will take everything in a sporty manner.....!!!”

Santhosh Priya, I call her Priya. She is HR in our company and very good friend of mine. She writes "Luv Abhi –
A personality so lovable by all…
I always used to call you Bachu – where you wud have felt embarrassed…
But I have always found that innocence in you… which made me to call so.
Ur always my good Pal...
U have that impressing attitude of “Commitment “, which I always admire …
You are an Born Leader… but you have to attempt to develop the same…
Your creativity is one thing I love and keep it up buddy…
On the whole... You are one of my “Favorite Comrade”… who I can rely upon…"

This is REAL ME (in short) Innocent, down-to-earth, ambitious, Mr. flirt, Kiddo & Bachu, choosy, cute , soft spoken, confused, cool, bad liar, occupied & busy, understanding, creative, sidha aur simple, movie lover, Aamir crazy fan and many other such characters you find in me.

TVS iCARE - Part I

Picture abhi bakki hai dost

Last week, I saw Om Shanti Om (popularly known as OSO) the Diwali damaka. Movie was fine and my opinion would be same as the Hero name in movie (OK). One dialogue drew my attention while watching the movie “Picture abhi bakki hai dost”. Hero says "life and story will never end with sad note."

Many times, life takes you towards rough road and makes you feel miserable; but this is not the end. As said “if story does not have happy ending, then the story is yet to end” rather say “if picture does not have happy ending, tho picture abhi bakki hai dost”. We have to take our life in positive manner and if you are going through tough tides of life; do not think that this is end of your life. Never put fullstop ( . ) in your life story. We have to keep in mind that happiness and sorrow are intregal part of life but both do not last forever.

Take life positively and live it to full; face the challenges, sorrow, and troubles and you shall be the winner of life. Have patience, determination and see changes coming in your life. There is lot to do in life and lot to face in life.

There are nice quotes about being happy, optimism, life etc.

1) “Never trouble trouble, until trouble troubles you”.

2) “We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.” - Martin Luther King, Jr.

3) “When life knocks you down, try to land on your back. Because if you can look up, you can get up. Let your reason get you back up.” - Les Brown

4) “When walking through the "valley of shadows," remember, a shadow is cast by a Light” - H. K. Barclay

5) “The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live.” - Elbert Hubbard

6) “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” - Confucius
