Lockdown...
Lockdown 2.0...
Now lockdown 3.0...
Every news channel, digital print, newspaper, WhatsApp
message, social media is all about lockdown; what are people doing ? how they
are coping up? How are they surviving? how are they keeping themselves safe?
Amidst this, there is also news about individuals, groups,
societies, NGOs and so; who are helping poor and needy people by providing food
and ration for their home. It is indeed a noble work and we all do appreciate
the same in this critical situation.
We human-being, are helping and caring for fellow
human-being. It is also been publicized or seen in social -media posts or TV or
newspaper. Have we thought of animals or
birds or so? How are they surviving? How are they going through the sudden
disappearance to less of human-being than usual days? Are we taking care of them
too in such critical time?
We are not hearing much about people or NGOs taking care of
animals or birds until now, yes... recently, I came to know about Miss Yogita
Goray residing at Virar West, Mumbai, and her story with cute animals and
birds.
One fine morning, she was having her pleasure time at the
balcony with her cup of coffee and breathing fresh, non-polluted air feeling
the complete sense of nirvana. She noticed a cute squirrel hopped on her
balcony grills; both were looking at each other eyes. It felt so cute within
her heart.
She didn't understand but instantly, she went inside and
came with some food and water in a small bowl; and yes surprisingly, that
little cute squirrel was still there as if it was waiting for her. She put bowl
forward with compassion, care, and cuteness. Beautiful squirrel slowly moves
forward and began to enjoy tasty food.
It was so cute and beautiful to watch the squirrel relishing
its food and water. It gave immense pleasure and utmost satisfaction to Yogita.
She took one step closer to nature.
After a few hours, she saw birds sitting on her balcony. She
did, as usual, she brought some food and water in another small bowl and place
in front of them. Birds too began to have it; and yes, it was another indeed
pleasure and blissful feeling to see chirping birds.
And the day ended, with a lot of satisfaction, pleasure, and
blissful in the heart. The sight of a squirrel and chirping birds was going on
in her heart and mind like a non-stop flashback making it good memories at the
end of the day.
Next day, she woke up and as routine, she took her cup of
coffee and went to the balcony for fresh air and there was a surprise waiting
for her.
Yes, the cute squirrel is there; looking innocently at her.
She felt the rush of adrenaline; she rushed back to the kitchen in joy to bring
some food and water for her little new friend.
It is so delightful start of the morning watching her little
cute new friend; and again to her surprise, in the evening time; her other new
chirping friends were waiting for her at the balcony. She brought food and
water for them too.
It was not just one or two days; it became routine and she
had found new cute friends of nature. She feels so blissful, pleasure, and
happy to see them every day and also gives her a smile on the face.
In this lockdown and quarantine period, she found new
friends and getting closer to nature.
It is such a beautiful life around us; hats off to Miss
Yogita Goray who makes this earth even more beautiful.
We all should appreciate as well as show compassion, care
towards animals in this lockdown period, and take a step closer to nature and
humanity.
Indeed, You will also feel blissful, pleasure, and happy in
heart the same as our Miss Yogita Goray.
